ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma is about working and being on call. Here's the email. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! Hi Jaime and good morning. My name is Evan and I wonder if anyone listening to the show could call in and help me out with this dilemma I’m going through. So I was just given a promotion at work as a team supervisor. The job comes with many perks, one being they get me a new smart phone that’s just for work. I don’t have to take the phone but they will pay for it if I want one. All the other supervisors have taken the phone. I on the other hand am thinking I’d rather just use my own phone to answer calls and answer emails like I always have. The reason being, all the other supervisors have told me that the boss thinks they HAVE to answer calls even if it's on a day off or the weekend. I’m a team player and love my job and I’m grateful for the promotion but I don’t want to feel obliga...MCSO: Man arrested for public lewdness in Walmart

Dear Amy: My brother (age 60) has had a difficult life. He has been fired over a dozen times from various jobs.I also believe that he has substance abuse problems.A couple of years ago, he moved and said that he wanted to get his life in order.I gave him some money then, but now it seems he is up to his old behaviors. He’s been out of work for the last year.He frequently “borrows” money from elderly relatives. When I tried to put a stop to this, he told me that he completely understood why my husband divorced me, and the begging (successfully) continued. Now that my elderly relatives are no longer in the position to give him money, he is back to asking me.I generally refuse, but he still manages to get me to donate, claiming necessary medical bills. He has also asked me to be the go-between to transfer money from my father’s account to his because my father is no longer able to physically go to the bank. (My father is competent and agrees to give the money.)This bank transaction is an ...Sale closed in Palo Alto: $1.9 million for a condominium

Unlucky Louie is sure that fate is determined to do him in. He blames his bad results on bad luck. The real problem is that when things go wrong, Louie goes with them. When he played at today’s four spades, West found a trump lead. East let dummy’s eight win (not best). Louie then tried a club to his queen.West won and led another trump, and East took the ace and led a third trump. Louie then had nine tricks: three trumps, a ruff, two diamonds, two hearts and a club. He could have won another with astute play, but he tried unsuccessfully to set up his clubs and went down.GOOD DUCK“The man finds a good lead,” Louie growled, “his partner finds a good duck, and the clubs are foul as well.”Maybe Louie was fated to go down, but a good declarer would win the first trump, cash the A-K of hearts, ruff a heart, lead a diamond to dummy, ruff a heart, lead a diamond to dummy and ruff a diamond.
