DENVER (KDVR) -- Fire crews are working to contain a "large scale" wildland fire along Interstate 70 in Eagle County.According to the Eagle River Fire Protection District, the fire is between the interstate and Eagle River near the Horn Ranch Open Space. The fire started after a vehicle crashed and ignited dry grasses in the area. DENVER (KDVR) — A bear is on the loose in Broomfield.The bear was spotted Thursday afternoon in the area of Zuni Street and West 150th Avenue, according to the Broomfield Police Department. Police posted about the bear at 5:07 p.m.Residents in the area told FOX31 they got a reverse 911 notification about the bear around 6:30 p.m. People were urged not to approach the bear if seen and to call 911 instead, or the non-emergency line at 303-438-6400.
