Thank you guys for being here. Hi, everybody. So, I think I think many of you know that Walt Disney opened up this park in 1955. When he opened this park, he had a very famous quote, where he said to, 'All who come to this happy place, welcome.' I'm going to modify that quote just a little bit for today, and say: To all who come to this happiest of lands in this happiest place, welcome. We are so thrilled that you are here as part of, not just the opening of Toontown, but quite honestly the continuation, and further excitement of the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. In a major legislative proposal to combat the state’s growing homelessness crisis, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Sunday an effort to push billions of dollars toward building a vast network of treatment beds to help California’s mentally ill and drug-addicted residents find care.Through a bond measure that could reach up to $5 billion, the governor hopes to build at minimum 6,000 new mental health beds across the state. Funding would also come through the diversion of over $1 billion annually from a pool of money created by a proposition passed by voters almost two decades ago.“It is unacceptable what we’re dealing with at scale in California,” Newsom said at a press conference on Sunday in San Diego announcing the new effort. “We have to address and come to grips with the reality of mental health in our state and nation.”Both the bond measure and diversion of funds would have to pass the muster of the legislature before being placed on the ballot an...Amoore, Hokies advance to Sweet 16 of March Madness

BERLIN (AP) — Amine Adli was twice booked for diving, twice excused, and Bayer Leverkusen scored twice from the resulting penalties to upset Bayern Munich 2-1.Bayern’s third defeat of the season left Borussia Dortmund top of the Bundesliga on Sunday.Referee Tobias Stieler had VAR to thank — twice — after getting it wrong initially both times. He apologized to Adli on each occasion after consulting replays which showed the French player had, in fact, been fouled first by Benjamin Pavard, then Dayot Upamecano. “It was the perfect example today of great collaboration with the video assistant,” Stieler said. “He gets a lot of complaints and is always very harshly criticized. Today it was a lifesaver for the game.”Exequiel Palacios scored both penalties to end Bayern’s four-game winning run across all competitions and leave Dortmund one point clear with nine rounds remaining.“It was a very important game for us. We knew that before the game but were unable to show it on...Eichel’s hat trick leads Golden Knights past Columbus 7-2
