EL CAJON, Calif. -- The San Diego County Sheriff's Department on Friday released body-worn video of a shooting involving law enforcement that wounded a man in El Cajon.The shooting occurred last Thursday on 1100 Oro Street, where authorities initially responded to a Toyota truck that had been reported stolen from Alpine earlier in the day, according to Lt. Adam Sharki with the San Diego Police Department.When deputies approached the truck, they saw a man next to the passenger side and another in the driver's seat, authorities said. Law enforcement shouted out several commands at the driver for him to get out of the vehicle, but he refused, per police. The suspect, identified as Brenten Kinzenbaw of Alpine, put the vehicle in reverse and accelerated, hitting a parked vehicle and then drove forward quickly, almost striking the pedestrian before crashing into a patrol vehicle, Sharki said. SAN DIEGO -- University of California, San Diego Health experienced a data breach involving its scheduling for their Urgent Care and Express Care clinics, officials said.The health organization's technology vendor, Solv Health, used analytic tools without the school's authorization, it was stated in a news release Thursday."The analytics tools they used on the scheduling websites captured and transmitted information to their third-party service providers," the release stated.Those who used the scheduling website to book appointments for in-person or video visits at the care facilities between Sept. 13 and Dec. 22, 2022, may have had their first and last name, date of birth, email address, IP address, third-party cookies, reason for visit, and insurance type (e.g., PPO, HMO, Other) captured by the analytics tools and transmitted to their third-party service providers, according to the health system. Transit riders will have to find an alternative method of transportation on Saturday due to a significant subway closure. An investigation is underway after an inmate at the Stillwater state prison punched a correctional officer in the face Friday morning.Authorities say the Minnesota Department of Corrections’ Office of Special Investigations is investigating the 11 a.m. incident at the prison in Bayport. The officer was taken to a local hospital and later released.The assault appears to have been unprovoked, authorities said. The K-9 officer’s dog responded by biting the inmate. The Stillwater City Council is prepared to declare a state of emergency at its meeting Tuesday in anticipation of possible flooding this spring.“We have been receiving information that predicts the potential for a significant flooding of the St. Croix River this spring.
