SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Schenectady man was sentenced to six years in federal prison on Tuesday for receiving hundreds of images and videos of child pornography. Daniel Quintero, 38, pleaded guilty to charges in May. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Quintero admitted that from May 1, 2019, to March 2, 2022, he downloaded images and videos of child pornography. The DOJ says he downloaded the content onto multiple electronic devices and a cloud storage account. Quintero is set to serve ten years of supervised release once his prison sentence is over. He was ordered to surrender four electronic devices he used to commit his crimes and will pay $9,000 in restitution to three victims. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - The demolition of Jamestown Mall begins Tuesday. It's been an eyesore and safety hazard for years. Jamestown Mall opened in 1973. It was forced to close down in 2014 after years of challenges. 78-Year-Old Woman Dies, Two Injured in Head-On Accident near West Greenway RoadPHOENIX, AZ (September 26, 2023) – Early Wednesday night, Shokriya Raies lost her life in a head-on collision that occurred on 35th Avenue.Emergency responders were dispatched to the incident at approximately 5:20 p.m., near the intersection of West Greenway Road on September 20th.According to reports, the male driver of a vehicle failed to yield while making a westward turn onto Tierra Buena Lane. This resulted in a collision with a southbound car, occupied by a woman in her 40s and Shokriya Raies.Medical personnel arrived and provided immediate care to Raies, who had sustained life-threatening injuries. The woman was also in critical condition. Meanwhile, the male driver suffered only minor injuries.Due to the severity of her condition, 78-year-old Raies was later pronounced dead.
