IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Payton Sandford hit five 3-pointers and scored 24 points, Ben Krikke had 19 points and 10 rebounds and Iowa defeated Rutgers 86-77 on Saturday.The Big Ten Conference’s best offense overcame the league’s best defense as the Hawkeyes came in averaging 86.7 points per game and the Scarlet Knights were allowing 62.5.Iowa starter Patrick McCaffery (9.7 ppg) was ill and missed the game where his dad surpassed former coach Tom Davis for the most Big Ten wins at the school with 127. Fran McCaffery is two shy of passing Davis’ overall win total of 271. DENVER (KDVR) -- Police in Boulder investigated a reported sexual assault that occurred early Saturday morning on a bike path.The incident happened just before 3 a.m. along the bike path west of Foothills Parkway, north of Baseline Road.The adult female victim was walking and reported that she was sexually assaulted by an unknown man. A 17-year-old has been charged after the car he was driving crashed into a townhouse complex in North York on Thursday night.Police say just before midnight the driver and two passengers, a woman and child, were hospitalized with with minor injuries after the blue Tesla they were in left the roadway, crossed a sidewalk and struck the building on Parkway Forest Drive, south of Sheppard Avenue before ending up inside the home.Three adults in the home were injured.
