Man arrested in fatal shooting outside San Leandro restaurant SAN LEANDRO — A man has been arrested in the fatal shooting of his domestic partner’s adult daughter Saturday afternoon outside a Chili’s restaurant, police said Monday.The woman killed was a 24-year-old East Bay resident, authorities said. Her name was not immediately released.In a news release, police said the suspect, Samuel Langworthy, 48, of Oakland, was arrested Saturday evening after California Highway Patrol officers spotted him driving on Interstate 5 near Coalinga.He had been sought in the 2:45 p.m. Saturday shooting, which police said was preceded by a verbal altercation between Langworthy and the woman in the restaurant parking lot at Bayfair Center.Police alleged that Langworthy got a gun from his vehicle and shot the woman once in the head at close range.
