Albany fire sends two firefighters to hospital; minor injuries ALBANY, N.Y (NEWS10)- A fire broke out at a home on the 300 block of Second Ave Wednesday evening. Firefighters arrived at approximately 6:40 to a fire spreading in the rear of the structure.The fire quickly spread up the back staircase into the second floor. Chief Gregory tells NEWS10 that the fire was especially stubborn due to the layers of roofing. Two firefighters were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries, along with one civilian with a non-fire related medical issue. They have since been treated and released.

Teen already in custody for weapons violations implicated in January killing of 30-year-old man in Long Beach  A teenager who was already in police custody was rebooked on Tuesday for murder after he was implicated in a Long Beach man's shooting death back in January.The 15-year-old male suspect, who was already in custody for a weapons violation, was rebooked for the murder of 30-year-old Jaevion Tasby, the Long Beach Police Department said in a statement. Tasby was shot on Jan. 8 in the 900 block of Daisy Avenue in Long Beach and succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to a nearby hospital.Authorities are still determining a motive for the shooting, but they believe that Tasby was specifically targeted. The 15-year-old, who was already facing robbery and kidnapping charges, is being held without bail.

Golden Gate Bridge tolls set to rise (KRON) -- At the outset of July, tolls on the Golden Gate Bridge will be going up. Whether they have a FasTrak account, are paying as they go, or are carpooling, bridge commuters going into San Francisco will have to pay more starting July 1.
